It is such a new and interesting area for me. Also looking forward to having a career change. (Being a physiotherapist for a few years)

What’s one thing you love about where you grew up?

I grew up in Mexico and I definitely LOVE ❤️ the food and the music. Also the people have more time to get together and family is very important.

What hobbies do you have?

Cooking, painting, and travelling

What attracted you to Health Data Science?

I have always been interested in data. I’ve been a marketer for more than 10 years and data and analytics are part of my job. I’ve also been working with a Physiotherapy practice for more than 10 years and have come across a lot of health conditions so I thought it would be amazing to combine data and health together!

What did you study for your undergrad degree?

Business/ Translation and Interpreting/ Marketing

I have an adorable Jack Russel called “Freddy” - he’s going to be 2 in April - LOVE ❤️

I grew up in South Korea, I love the lake park where can feel all seasons.

Looks professional :) always wondering and interested in data because I love that I can have a chance to find an error and correct it.

What’s one thing you love about where you grew up?

I grew up in Canberra and love all the museums and how walkable the city is!

What attracted you to Health Data Science?

My background is in health promotion so what attracts me to health data science are the endless opportunities to identify health disparities and design tailored interventions for a more equitable and accessible health system. I also love the art of data storytelling and seeing people have a-ha moments about really complex data once it is communicated through a beautiful visualisation.

What did you study for your undergrad degree?

I did my undergrad in public health and also have a masters in sexual health
